18047 UP Amarabati / Amaravati Express Train starts from Howrah Railway Station (Platform No.21) at 11.30pm. During first night in Amaravathi Express Train you will not get much view. Next day early morning Amarabati Express Train reaches Sabira, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhadrak, Cuttack Railway station (Orissa) and Bhubaneswar Station (Odisha) after crossing massive Mahanadi River Bridge. Later on passengers get to see excellent Eastern Ghat Hill view from Amaravati Express Train when train goes towards Vishakhapatnam (Visakhapatnam) station of Andhra Pradesh. Visakhapatnam station is an important railway station for people visiting Vizag. I have ordered IRCTC FOOD TRACK that delivers food directly to the passengers without any hassle. At around 12-noon 18047 UP Amaravathi Express reaches Castle Rock Railway station which is on Western Ghat Hill at the border of Karnataka & Goa state. From this Castle Rock Station (Karnataka), Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek happens. Then slowly Amaravati Express Train crosses through Hill Caves (Hill Tunnels) on the way to Dudhsagar Waterfall. Passengers has a chance of watching Dudhsagar Waterfall 4-times from Amaravati Express Train while it goes to Vasco Da Gama (Goa). I just loved the Indian Railway journey through Western Ghat Hills, Hill jungles, Hill Caves and finally I realize the Amaravati Train is on the top of western ghat hill. Then comes Chennai Express film shooting spot i.e., Dudhsagar Waterfall station. After crossing Dudhsagar Waterfall Station train stops at Kulem (Qlm / Kolem) station in Goa where from Jeep service available for Dudhsagar Waterfall for tourists as well. After 1 hour, Amaravati Express reaches Madgaon (Margaon) Railway station which is in South Goa. Later train passes through Arabian Sea on the way to Vasco Da Gama. Yes, Amaravati Express going beside Arabian Sea in Goa. Finally at 3pm Amaravati Express train reaches Vasco Da Gama (Goa) railway station.
