This tutorial will explain how to write IMEI to Mediatek (MTK) devices using Modem Meta (Maui Meta v10.1952) tool. One of the advantages of this tool over Maui Meta v9 is that it can load DB file(s) directly from the device. It also has an option to manually load the DB file in case loading from the device fails.
Requirements
Ensure you have a valid Baseband. If unknown, flash the stock rom
Download Mediatek CDC Serial driver and install as explained
