Authentic Goan Prawn Cutlets also known as Sungtache Daangar in Goa !! If you are a seafood lover you will not regret trying this Recipe !!
Recipe -
In a mixing bowl, take
10-12 big prawns chopped into pieces or small prawns if available.
1 small green chilly finely chopped
1 medium sized onion finely chopped
2-3 tbsp freshly grated coconut
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilly powder ( as per tolerence)
salt to taste
pinch of garam masala
1 tbsp tamarind pulp
bunch of coriander leaves
Mix well.
For binding you can add rice flour, just enough to shape into cutlets.
Adding too much rice flour will change the taste !!
Next, coat all the cutlets with Rava /Suji/ Semolina.
Shallow fry until crisp using coconut oil for the authentic taste or any other cooking oil can also be used !!
