Photosynthetic Bacteria are common throughout the world and are characterized by their ability to assimilate Carbon Dioxide and fix molecular Nitrogen, utilizing solar sources of energy.
In the present report a model treatment plant has been described for utilizing these bacteria for decontaminating waste waters containing high concentrations of organic matter and for utilizing these microbial by products.
Benefits of Photosynthetic Bacteria (PSB)
*Improve the water quality of pond.
*Contain special active bacteria which can decompose toxic matters like the organic materials, Hydrogen Sulfide , Nitrous Acid, Ammonia and pond sludge.
