Want some Authentic Mexican Tacos? But can’t leave the house? Here’s a GREAT recipe that’s easy, quick, and delicious!
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Flank or Skirt Steak
• 1 Raw Onion
• Fresh Cilantro
• 1/3 Cup Orange Juice
• Fresh Lime Juice
• 5 TSP of Soy Sauce
• 2 TSP of Vinegar
• 3 TSP of Cumin
• 1 TSP of Black Pepper
• 1 TSP onion powder
• 2 TSP of Minced Garlic
• Tortillas
• Salsa Verde Either from scratch or store bought.
I’ll be showing you guys how to make Salsa Verde from scratch NEXT taco Tuesday.
Instructions:
1. Dice Steak.
2. Pour garlic, dry seasonings, olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, and orange juice over your steaks and cover. Let marinate for up to 4 hours
3. Dice Onion and Cilantro. Set aside.
4. In a cast iron skillet, pour olive oil and cook steaks until desired temperature. I suggest medium well for steak tacos.
5. After cooking stovetop, Broil for 2-3 mins constantly watching to avoid overcooking.
6. Warm tortillas in skillet or oven and fill with your steak, onions and cilantro.
7. Serve hot with Salsa Verde on top OR dip your entire taco inside. Enjoy.
