The purpose of this Talk is to bring awareness to Lynch Syndrome. Lynch Syndrome is a genetic disorder that predisposes people to getting 14 types of cancer. The key questions that this talk will address are: What is Lynch Syndrome? What cancers can you get? How do the chances of getting certain cancers compare to the chances of people w/out LS? How is LS passed on? What % of people have LS? How is somebody tested for LS? What can you do to be proactive if you are diagnosed with LS Helen is a 10th grader at Phillips Exeter Academy.
