Museums hold an important role in shaping public memory and understanding of our shared history. However, many museums around the world still struggle with addressing colonialism and the legacies of empire in their collections and displays. Furthermore, the issue of restitution has gained significant attention in recent years, with many calls for the return of cultural heritage objects to their places of origin. This event was organised by Kawan Dekolonisasi Bangsa of PCINU Belanda together with Museum Ceria, Jakarta.
