I’ve been a lifelong fan of the Alien franchise, but now it’s time to face the Xenomorphs up close—and I’m not sure I’m ready.

In Alien: Rogue Incursion on PS VR2, I’m stepping into the boots of Zula Hendricks, an ex-Colonial Marine on a mission to uncover Weyland-Yutani’s darkest secrets.

Despite having this installed on my PS5 Pro for days, I’ve somehow managed to hold of playing it until now so you’ll get my honest first impressions (and scares).

And while I’m hyped for the immersive VR action, I’m absolutely not looking forward to encountering facehuggers or being hunted in the shadows.

With eye-tracking, haptics, and full-body presence, this promises to be as terrifying as it is thrilling. Will I survive the corridors of Purdan, or will the Xenomorphs prove why they’re the galaxy’s ultimate predator?
