The US space agency Nasa is set to launch an uncrewed Orion spacecraft on its six-week mission to circle the moon and then return to Earth. After a series of delays, the Artemis I test flight is scheduled for lift off from the US state of Florida aboard the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. The spacecraft is expected to travel 280,000-mile (450,000km) journey from Earth and an additional 40,000 miles (64,000km) as it passes the far side of the moon.
