Incredible views!! Two huge gray whales swim around and nuzzle some small boats as they surface for a close look at their human observers. This provided an amazing view of one of the heads. Later, the whales can be seen just below the surface of the whale-watching catamaran as they approach and go under it and close to the side. A close view of the under side of their flukes can be observed toward the end.
This is on the famous St. Patrick's Day Cruise off of Dana Point, California. If I had been lying down on the deck, I would have almost been able to touch these creatures! What an exciting adventure for us!--Even the captain was extremely amazed!
