Eurasian Reed Warbler song is fairly slow and scratchy and not melodious as the name warbler might make one imagine. This Eurasian Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus scirpaceus singing in a reed bed performs a typical song but also includes a lot of mimicry of the songs and calls of other birds of the habitat. Listen out for some very obvious mimicry of Common Redshank but if you do not know the calls that are being mimicked just enjoy the variety of this Eurasian Reed Warbler song.
