Make sure that you purchase the correct size and type of breaker for the brand of panel that you have. You can purchase GFCI only breakers if you want, but in my opinion you might as well go with the dual function for the added AFCI protection.
If an outlet is going to be placed outdoors it needs to be weather resistant (WR) and tamper resistant (TR). Indoors almost all receptacles are required to be TR but not WR.

This is the process of converting from a GFCI receptacle and standard breaker to using a standard outlet or receptacle that is protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter breaker.
I prefer this method as the GFCI breaker is more likely to last especially in applications like this one where the receptacle is in an outdoor location. It also allows for a cleaner look in kitchen or bathroom applications. One potential negative is that you have to access the panel in order to reset the breaker if it trips versus just resetting it on the face of the receptacle.
