In this video, I wanted to take a look at whether control of the justice system should be devolved to Wales or not. Currently, the justice system in Wales is still largely controlled by the UK Government based in Westminster. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own seperate and distinct legal systems that are mainly controlled by their respective devolved governments, but England and Wales still share a single common legal system between them.
So in the video, we take a look at whether this should be changed in order to bring Wales into line with Scotland and Northern Ireland. There's also a bit of history included within the video in order to bring everyone up to date with the debate on whether justice should be devolved to Wales or not.

I'm currently an undergraduate student at Cardiff University studying Politics and during my studies I have spent a lot of time looking at devolution in Wales. Although, I have often found that there is an EXTREME lack of accessible sources of information on devolution in Wales. So, with that in mind I have created this channel with the purpose of providing clear, understandable and entertaining videos targeted at providing better information about Politics in Wales, Welsh History and Wales itself along with some other interesting things!
As this is only one of the first videos on the channel please bare with me as some things are still a little rough around the edges and so I'm hoping these things will improve with time. If enough people find the videos interesting or helpful then I'll try my best to continue producing them alongside my studies at university.
