Review: The JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach opened in 2016, and is one of the newest Marriott property in Singapore. Despite its JW Marriott branding, I felt that this hotel incorporates elements of its sister brand, W Hotels & Resorts, into the interior furnishing of the hotel. Quirky and flirty furnishings adorned the walkways and the rooms. The hotel was very proactive with the room upgrade and the room was simply spectacular. It was well-designed for the esteemed traveller, and even included a mini kitchenette area for light cooking. I loved the washroom with many mirrors, an automatic toilet, and a priceless view of Marina Bay. The suite was not as big, but it felt spacious, maybe due to its heavy use of mirrors. In this stay, we also had access to the club lounge where we had our afternoon tea, and light snacks. The club lounge is fantastic, and well worth it if you have Marriott Platinum status and above. The breakfast on level 1 was also very good, with a wide variety of high quality food items. All in all, the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach is definitely fit for the esteemed traveller and is one of the best hotels in the Marina Bay area, although it may be a little pricey.
