I like to call summer "jumping fish season" among other nicknames.

The reason is that when you walk by the Seto Inland Sea in summer, you'll always see fish jumping out of the water. Once or twice, sometimes more (the most I saw was one fish jumping six times in a row). I'm not exactly sure why they do it.
It's usually one fish at a time.


What I saw the other day was quite different.
