The archaeological remains of an early 17th century structure at the foot of Burial Hill in downtown Plymouth continued to be the focus of this summer's field work by Professor David B. Landon, PhD and his students from the Fiske Center for Archaeological Research-UMASS Boston. Identified a few years ago, the site is located near what may have been the home of Myles Standish. The team identified the remains of a two-bay structure built in phases with evidence of daub construction and a possible hearth. Video courtesy the Alden Kindred of America.
