On May 17, 2023, Ramsey County Minnesota Sheriff's Deputies spotted a stolen 2023 Ford Bronco during their weekly Live on Patrol Wednesday afternoon broadcast by the CAT Team (Carjacking & Auth-Theft). Upon confirming the vehicle was stolen a month prior and coordinating with their partner agencies, deputies were able to successfully deploy stop sticks to one of the vehicle's rear tires and continued their pursuit for a short time across the river into Minneapolis (where the vehicle was initially stolen from) until the offenders abandoned it and fled on foot. A perimeter was established and the suspects were apprehended a short time later with the help of multiple deputies and partner agencies.
Our hats off to the Ramsey County Sherrif's Office for another successful apprehension under the leadership of Sheriff Bob Fletcher and his team of Under Sheriffs and Deputies.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
