Grant Abbott has been a great fan of SIS Regulation 13.22C trusts and also companies for a whole number of reasons including that they can be wholly owned by a SMSF or in partnership with a family Trust or company. Plus section 66 of the SISA 93, which prevents the acquisition by a Trustee of a SMSF from a related party does not apply.
