Mr. Adel Fayez, an esteemed retired engineer, served diligently within the blessed church. 7 years ago he suffered a complete paralysis that affected both of his legs, his left hand, ear, and eye. He was left paralyzed, confined to a wheelchair, devoid of speech, sight, hearing nor movement. His medical prognosis indicated a mere 1% chance of recovery. However, on August 13th, 2023, in the quiet and attentive atmosphere during the hosting of the speaking guest priest on the eve of the Virgin Mary's fasting and revival at her church, the Church of St. Mary and Pope Kyrillos VI in Ezbet El Nakhl, Cairo, an astonishing incident occurred before everyone's eyes.
During the solemnity, a loud shout echoed, leading some to believe there was a dispute while others thought it was the cry of someone mentally unstable. Amid the repetition of his words, "El Adra, El Adra Ahi, El Adra Ahi," which means “ St. Mary, St. Mary, I see st. Mary” the Virgin Mary appeared in a luminous manifestation that flickered thrice before vanishing. Suddenly, Professor Adel Fayez rose from his wheelchair and began crawling on the floor like a child, exclaiming, "It moved, it moved, it spoke." He then started removing the devices he had been wearing, one by one, with his hands. Onlookers were astonished, wondering what was transpiring. As he removed the final piece, he clung to his body and began circling the church, moving back and forth, akin to a child, amidst the sound of the congregation's voices chanting and applauding, expressing jubilation and praises for the Virgin Mary.
"He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy." Acts 14:17 🕊️♥️
