Yes, it takes ages to load and the cut-scenes are slow. The recommended CPU is a Pentium 166 and Dosbox ECE gives a maximum of 70MHz. Since this is V1.0 of the Dune 2000 launcher, the resolution can not be adjusted. Unfortunately this gives a wide-screen resolution for some unknown reason.

The game itself is playable...
