On Friday morning, the first charter flight to bring Indian nationals who were stuck in Israel due to the conflict home touched down in New Delhi. Under "Operation Ajay," the airplane, which was carrying 212 Indians, including an infant, took off on Thursday night from Israel's Ben Gurion airport. The passengers were reportedly selected on a "first come, first serve" basis. The Indian government has assured that the rest of the stranded Indians will also be brought back in a similar way and the embassy is in touch with every Indian in Israel.
