The old temple in the Aravalli forests of Mangar is under threat, as are the pristine Aravalli forest, the rock inscriptions and cave art, from a CLU issued by the Haryana government See the lovely huge Ficus trees and the pond in the middle of the forest and to think all this just next to Delhi, with a healthy leopard population and a modest prey base, too. We must preserve this last remnant of the Aravalli forests around Delhi, at all costs, even if it means preventing development and residential constructions in this lovely forest, and moving every government machinery to prevent the development and further the conservation process!
