The TL is our lightweight and low-profile container for trackers and wingsuiters.

Don’t get us wrong, the TL can safely be used as an all­-around rig. This design eliminates the long exposed corners found on other “terminal only” BASE containers, making them unsuitable for sub-terminal jumps. The TL is elongated just enough to make tracking and wingsuit pulls more natural and comfortable but not so long as to create unnecessary snag hazards on sub-terminal jumps and aerials. That said, many of the TL design elements will appeal to jumpers who primarily fly wingsuits and tracking suits.

The original Apex TL has been a fixture at exit points around the world since 2009. Due to the popularity and proven track record of this design we stayed true to the original platform while modernizing the containers construction to reduce weight and profile. The updated TL comes standard with lightweight exterior fabric, a lightweight type 17 chest strap, and a standard integrated riser system. The TL offers two closing methods, described below. For those who loved the dual through­ loops on the old version: they are still available as an option while standard containers come with top/bottom flap closing loops and a single top through loop.

We believe the TL offers the optimal balance of light weight, low profile, comfortable pull, all-around functionality, and durability. Jumpers will find that this rig shines where others in the “lightweight, terminal-only” category tend to fall short. This container is built to last, and safe for use on every style of BASE mission.
