The main difference between electric snow shovels and snow blowers is in the way they toss aside the snow.
Snow blowers are unlike what their name suggests. They don’t blow away the snow by the use of high-pressure air as the name might imply. Instead, they have rotating augers that scoop up the snow to an impeller. The impeller then discharges the snow to one side, usually up to 40 feet away. On the other hand, electric snow shovels suck up the snow and toss it out of the way on both sides.
