The raised diagonal stitch was originally published in The Complete Photo Guide to Crochet by Margaret Hubert. This crochet tutorial is a modification of that stitch pattern.
This version of the raised diagonal stitch uses double crochet and a modified front post extended treble crochet. This combination of stitches is quick to make and eliminates skipped stitches on the back of the fabric.
