This is how I prepare the sponge cake I use for my cakes. It is soft, fluffy, and flexible!

◾ 135g Sugar, plain
◾ 135g all-purpose Flour, sifted
◾ 1 vanilla capsule or 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
