Unfortunately, I don't think this video does much justice as to how difficult this actually is to no damage as a melee character. The boss attacks are quite tricky to read, and most of the time you're fighting the camera or getting stuck on the boss' hitbox. Using powerstance is great for damage, but the recovery time is awful and painful for no damage runs. The lightning phase in particular can be a nightmare too, as some awkward attack combos can leave you with essentially no counter. It also has massive HP, despite it being a fairly quick defeat in the video.

So in part, I'm happy to have it done, but also a little disappointed that the fight itself was so short on this run. I normally like to drag fights out a little bit, but this was the only time I had so many openings in a row to punish in the beginning phase to get a stagger, and it made the later phases easier to deal with. Either way, I got pretty consistent with it all, and I had a bunch of runs that was 1 or 2 attacks from a clear.

Build is nothing special, 2x Quality Greatsword +25, max strength and dex. Claw, Great Jar's Arsenal, Green Turtle & Erdtree's Favor +2 talismans. Raptor's Black Feathers cloak. Cragblade and Royal Knight's Resolve ashes of war.
