Its the night after WWF Armageddon 1999 and Mr. McMahon wants answers. He demands to a confrontation with Triple H but he instead comes face to face with his daughter Stephanie. Stephanie gives Vince a few facts that result in the chairman leaving the arena, and so Triple H & Stephanie are left all alone to manage Raw is War. While not officially announced as such, this is the beginning of the "McMahon Helsmley Era" in the WWF.
WCW are getting ready for Starrcade '99 where Goldberg gets a WCW Championship opportunity against Bret Hart. These two also won the WCW Tag Team Titles on Thunder this past week, and The Outsiders challenge Hart & Goldberg to a title match this week on Nitro. Roddy Piper faces Curt Hennig in a chair match, Paul Orndorff returns to WCW, and Chris Kanyon is also back from making movies in Hollywood while now calling himself "Champagne Kanyon"
