Hello everyone! In this video we go back in time 3 years to a fun project that my dad and I undertook. His weekend car at the time (2016 BMW 550i xDrive) was not being driven much as it was late winter and he had a pair of X5M calipers sitting around from a previous project, so we put the two together! Before we started, we noticed cosmetic issues with the fender liners, control arms and the chassis that made the project take a little longer than expected, but the end result was fantastic! The brake kit had no negative effects on driving dynamics, the pedal feel was fantastic, bite was immediate, and the looks are fantastic!
I hope you enjoy this video and learn something if you want to do something like this to your own car.

Not all the parts in this list will be needed to do the bbk. I recommend that you source your own used callipers and save a ton of money! If you opt for the F85 rotors you will need the set screw in my link, if you opt for E70 rotors you will be able to reuse your old screws. We reused the original calliper bracket screws to mount the new calliper. You may want to use different brake lines as well and you will need to figure out how to secure your brake lines!
You may need to use a special BMW OBD computer to bleed your braking system properly!
I am not responsible for any damages done to your vehicle if you follow this demonstrational video...
