Anish Sarkar, 3-year old, Youngest ever FIDE RATED chess player in the world has been awarded with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Puraskar from honourable President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji for his incredible achievements at such a young age.

He also met Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi and got to interact with him for a couple of minutes.

President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji presented the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to 17 children, recognising their exceptional courage and outstanding achievements in various fields, including art, culture and sport on Thursday (26th December, 2024)
