As you may know, overdraft fees at Chase Bank are $34 per transaction and this fee starts with the first transaction you make that overdraws your checking account balance by $50. These overdraft fees can be avoided by using the Chase Overdraft Assist. Note that you do not need to enroll or sign up for Chase Overdraft Assist as it comes with every eligible Chase
Checking Account apart from the accounts mentioned below:
• Chase First Checking.
• Chase Secure Checking.
• Chase High School Checking.
This Chase Overdraft assist feature helps you avoid overdraft fees by:
 Not charging you ($0 charge) any overdraft fee if you overdraw by $50 or less at the end of the business day (a business day ends at 8 pm Pacific Time zone).
 Not charging you ($0 charge) if you bring your account balance to overdrawn by $50 or even less at the end of your next business day (you are given until 11 pm East African Time or 8 pm Pacific Time zone)
