One of Winnipeg's most important roads, Portage Ave connects downtown to places to the west. In fact, the road becomes the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) just outside of the city centre. This video takes you from the western outskirts of town, just before crossing under Perimeter Highway, and heads east into the heart of the city.
