I was so glad to be able to honor you and your legacy as well as to spend/capture some of our final moments together. I’m going to miss the could’ve beens and the what may haves….like spending time with you, being at my wedding, you seeing your nieces/nephews, us laughing/joking, arguing over the dumb things, you trying to protect me from everyone, looking at each other and laughing when our sister or mom say something crazy, you trying to cook and think I’m going to eat it lol, going to your book signings and becoming a recognized author, you trying to dance, experiencing life together and grow our bond, those gross gross gross wet kisses, getting to know each other and so much more.

They did you so wrong and we will fight to give you justice! 😡You were almost 35. I know God has other plans for you. I’m glad you’re not hurting, I’m glad you’re not in that place, I’m glad you’re able to finally be free. I know you’re in a much much better place🙏🏾

My brother Jowell was murdered in his cell last Thursday afternoon at Red Onion State Prison. The VADOC announced a Press Release stating “an inmate alerted staff that his cellmate fell out of his top bunk unconscious.” I viewed his body. Only the left side of his face was extremely swollen from being punched. There was no other bruising on his body making it evident he did not fall. We haven't received any answers and there is a pending investigation.

Jowell published a "tell all book" regarding his wrongful conviction naming judges, attorneys etc highlighting the corruption of the proceedings. Jowell did not have a cellmate when he and my mom spoke last Tuesday, was bunking alone for the last two months and he didn't mention anything to her about a new cellmate Thursday morning when they last spoke.
