Former Gujarat police officer DG Vanzara was discharged in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh case by a special court in Mumbai today. The court dropped the charges against him, and former Rajasthan police officer MN Dinesh, citing insufficient evidence. With this, 15 of the 38 accused in the 12-year-old case have been let off.
