As I was reviewing an Amazon PPC account I noticed that our top performing campaign this month was a Sponsored Display vCPM campaign.
It had the most sales AND lowest ACOS.
I was like ‘this is crazy! There’s no way!’
Then I noticed the words ‘views & clicks’.
And as a person who extremely curious I decided to hover over this and read it.
Based on what I read it looks like the sales and acos metrics include sales from impressions and clicks.
What does this mean?
It means I need to analyze this data differently since the data attribution model is significantly different to other ad types. (Sponsored products, sponsored brands, sponsored display product targeting)
