A morning in October, we set sail with @DuFleuve to admire the marine mammals of the St. Lawrence River.We spotted a whale in the distance, and Captain Simon immediately stopped the boat. We let ourselves be carried by the current for long minutes, listening to the sound of its breath. The calm morning allowed us to fully appreciate the serene, undisturbed soundscape.Then, the whale dove into the depths of the river...

Thanks to Du Fleuve allowing me to record the sounds of the whale's breath. This is a project I've wanted to do for a long time, and I was searching for the right company to work with.

Du Fleuve is a company passionate about the St. Lawrence River and its ecosystem. They focus on offering small group experiences led by experienced naturalist captains, highlighting the beauty and fragility of the ecosystem. Their mission is to raise awareness about the biodiversity of the river and its surroundings. They take the time to contemplate and appreciate all the species in the St. Lawrence.

While making this video, I thought of Paul Watson and his incredible fight to protect marine life.
