Video includes: KGB Department of Riga, The Freedom Monument, House of the Blackheads, Nativity of Christ Orthodox Cathedral and walking around the city center. We stayed in the old part of Riga, which I could warmly recommend as everything is easily reachable by foot. We actually happened to choose quite a time to visit Riga, as the Latvians celebrated their independence day, as well as played a home field match in football against Croatia. Given the European fan culture is on another level, we would run into these thousands of Croatian fans drinking pre-game around the city center. I can warmly recommend Riga for a weekend trip, to people not coming from far away. If you travel to Europe from the other side of the world and you have plenty of time, you could surely add Riga to your march order if it fits the game plan at the time.
