SOLIDWORKS CAM is a feature-based CAM software which means to create toolpaths you must first define machinable features. In this presentation, we will look at the different types of milling features you can define in SOLIDWORKS CAM. Specifically, we will focus on all the available 2.5-axis milling features, how to define them, and what they are used for. Once a user understands 2.5-axis milling features, it becomes really easy to begin creating your CAM programs.
