As much as I love Tokyo Mew Mew's reboot, there's a lot of gripes I have with it. One of those gripes is how they handled Mint and everything they tried to do to make her character have more depth. I appreciate the sentiment, but despise the execution. Was Mint your favorite in the original series, or did the reboot make you like her more? Both versions have things to enjoy, but as someone who adored the original so much, I needed to make a video essay about what went wrong, and how I left disappointed when it came to our favorite blue haired Mew with pronouns.
