In the MN38: Mahātaṇhāsaṅkhaya Sutta, the Bhikkhu Sarthy carried a pernicious view "...It is this same consciousness that runs and wanders through the round of rebirths, not another". Here Bhante Punnaji explains this pernicious view is equivalent to the concept of Reincarnation or Transmigration. The Buddhist concept of "Rebirth" is often incorrectly construed to be the same as "Reincarnation" or "Transmigration". It should be noted that many Buddhist monks (particularly those not having good command of the English language) often call Buddhist rebirth as "reincarnation" without properly understanding that reincarnation refers to the migration of an entity called the soul from one body to another. Bhante Punnaji always teaches us to perceive in Experiential terms, that all events in life are activities, and even life itself is an activity, and not to perceive in Existential terms of entities and existence.
