This talk reveals the intricate fabric of human relationships that are established around sharing a meal. Something as simple as sharing a meal becomes a vital ingredient to our survival and well-being. My name is Laura Flosi and I am a mathematics teacher and football coach at the International School of Tanganyika in Dar es Salaam. I love teaching and coaching because I love being with people. As I spend time with different people, I always learn something new about the world and, in turn, something new about myself. My family (husband Josh and two teenage kids) moved to Tanzania during the height of the pandemic in 2020. Prior to Dar es Salaam, we have lived in Nairobi, Kenya and in Oregon in the USA. In my free time, I love to read, exercise, cook, eat good food, explore new places, and organize anything and everything. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
