South Australia is bracing for the threat of catastrophic bushfires with firefighters warning conditions are forecast to be as bad as they can get.
The state's Department for Education has announced 111 schools and kindergartens will be closed tomorrow as a safety measure.
Seven districts, including the Mount Lofty Ranges, have been given the highest possible fire danger ratings.
Firefighters are comparing conditions to some of the worst fires we've seen in recent memory.
