Tara is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program with AC Online. She grew up on Christian Island in Beausoleil First Nation. Tara was working as a special needs resource teacher with a local daycare and she wanted to add to her skills. She chose AC Online because it allowed her to complete her studies while working full-time and managing her busy family life. Living on a reserve presented some unique challenges for Tara and she particularly appreciated that the AC Online facilitators took the time to understand her background and work with her throughout the program.
