College Football fans love discussing blue blood programs - from how many there are to which criteria should matter in the selection process to whether you can lose your status as a blue blood. On the Late Kick Extra podcast this week Josh Pate discussed what he requires before he labels a program one of College Football's blue bloods. While total wins are important, it's also required that relevance across multiple generations and titles across multiple generations have been accomplished. It's also possible that programs like Nebraska or Tennessee that once enjoyed this lofty stature may have temporarily had that designation revoked pending success in the future.
