In the box you’ll receive an instruction sheet, 9 cylinder feet, 9 plastic washers, the left A rail, the right B rail, 2 C bars, 2 D bars, 1 E, and 1 F bar. The tricky part about setting up the frame is that there are no words on the instructions, just a few illustrations and none of the parts have actual labels on them, so you have to match them to the images. However, there are no other tools or hardware needed for the setup and it can be assembled by one person in about 15 minutes.
My recommendation is to identify and lay out the parts before you start putting pieces together. The frame is easiest to setup upside-down with the feet facing up, as all the brackets attach from the bottom. The only screws/bolts needed are the ones pre-installed in the 9 feet of the frame. It took me about 15 minutes to complete the assembly on my own. Once the frame is put together, you can flip it over, right-side-up to set the box spring and mattress on. When put together, the frame feels pretty light and is easy to flip over with just one person. The dimensions of the fully assembled frame is 76"L x 60"W x 7"H. The queen box spring I had fit perfectly into frame and sat snugly against the brackets on the side rails which keep it on the frame. The frame's width is also somewhat adjustable and can be widened about 2 inches along sliding grooves to accommodate box springs with a slightly larger footprint.
The bed frame is sturdy and does not slide, squeak, creak, or shift, even when jumping on the bed. Overall, it was super simple and quick to assemble, has a durable steel construction, and stays firmly in place while supporting the bed and its occupants.
