A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the NROL-76 mission (reconnaissance satellite) from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, on 1 May 2017, at 11:15 UTC (07:15 EDT). NROL-76 is SpaceX’s first mission for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office.
