(9 Jul 1942) The convoy from Gibraltar to Malta meets many hazards on it's Mediterranean route. The convoy is escorted by two aircraft carriers HMS Eagle and HMS Argus. The main attacks on the convoy made over a period of three days were often a combination of high level bombing and simultaneous torpedo-aircraft attack.
