Telegram does have a feature that allows you to prevent anyone from adding you to groups. However, you can control who can add you to groups to some extent by adjusting your privacy settings and using the following methods:
Control Who Can Add You to Groups:
Open the Telegram app.
Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner to open the menu.
Go to "Settings" and then select "Privacy and Security."
Scroll down to the "Groups" section.
You can choose who can add you to groups by selecting one of the following options:
"Everyone" allows anyone to add you to groups.
"My Contacts" allows only people in your contact list to add you to groups.
"Nobody" prevents anyone from adding you to groups. Please note that if someone tries to add you to a group and you have this setting enabled, they will have to send you an invite link, which you can choose to accept or decline.
Remove Yourself from Unwanted Groups:
If someone has already added you to a group that you don't want to be part of, you can remove yourself:
Open the group chat.
Tap on the group name at the top to open the group info.
Scroll down and tap "Leave Group."
Block or Mute the Person:
If someone keeps adding you to unwanted groups, you can consider blocking or muting them to prevent further invitations:
Open a chat with the person.
Tap on their profile picture at the top.
Tap the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
You can choose to block or mute them.
Report Spam:
If you are receiving unsolicited group invites from multiple users or are being harassed, you can report the issue to Telegram. To do this:
Open the unwanted group chat.
Tap the group name to open group info.
Scroll down and select "Report."
