This video is a review of the Skechers GoRun Maxroad 5. The retail price is $130.00 U.S. dollars. They are a neutral road shoe that I ordered true to size. They weight 8.4oz for a men's size 9 on my scales or 239. The Skechers GoRun Maxroad 5 feature a soft, engineered mesh upper that has plenty of room in the toebox.The eyelet chain is a traditional or classic style that does well to keep you locked-in and secure. The Maxroad 5's have the additional eyelet so you can run with a runners knot. The tongue is not gusseted. It is padded and comfortable. The collar and tab are well padded. There is a pull tab to help you get your shoes on. The heel counter has plenty of structure. The midsole features their Hyper Burst foam that is soft and springy and give your a smooth cushioned ride.The outsole has just the right amount of GoodYear rubber that adds durability and traction. Overall they are a great choice for a well cushioned, lightweight, daily trainer that provides for a smooth and comfortable ride but with plenty of energy return. Thanks for watching.
