MIUI 8.0 OTA update Global Stable Version on Redmi Note 3 | MIUI 8.0.1.0 ( LHOMIDG )
After releasing the beta version of MIUI 8 for user's . Xiaomi releasing MIUI 8.0 for selected mobile. This update is Via OTA MIUI user's will be given a notification on their mobile when the update is available for them.
So , How to update MIUI 7 to MIUI 8 , Just follow the below steps
1) Go to settings - About Phone - check for update - download the MIUI 8 file
2) Reboot the mobile for the changes to take place
That's it.
You have updated you mobile to MIUI 8.0.1.0 running on top of Android Lollipop 5.1.1 LMY47V.
But it is disappointing to see there is no Marshmallow update on MIUI 8. whereas some devices are getting ready Android 7.0 Nougat while Redmi note 3 users are still stuck on Lollipop
Note:- There is rumor that Xiaomi is testing MIUI 8 Marshmallow update on Redmi note 3 mobiles.
